The Hibberd Cup

UNITE FOR A CAUSE

Let’s kick start the conversation about men’s mental health!

SUNDAY 7th JULY 2024
11am – 2.30pm

Powerleague Shepherds Bush

41 S Africa Rd, London W12 7RW

The Hibberd Cup is a five-a-side football tournament to support men’s mental health.

By coming together as a community, we aim to break the stigma, opinions, and thoughts around mental health and raise vital awareness and funds for men’s mental health initiatives.

Up to 40% of men won’t discuss their mental health*. Together with the charity MANUP? we want to challenge the phrase ‘Man Up’. Don’t brush off your feelings and get on with it. Instead, seek help, talk, and don’t feel ashamed that something has become too much to cope with.

Together, we can be better!

The Hibberd Cup is a social event for all to enjoy.

Throughout the tournament, there will be food trucks, Dead Good Coffee, children’s games, a raffle, DJ to keep supporters entertained, and there’s even a bar for refreshments!

It’s not just a football tournament it’s a day to remember.

In loving memory

The Hibberd Cup is dedicated to our dear friend Danny Hibberd, who passed away last year. A passionate football fan, The Hibberd Cup is a way of honouring his memory by bringing to life Danny’s dream of helping people, especially men, who find themselves in a similar situation.

The Hibberd Cup is a way of raising awareness not just for those who might not be coping with mental health but also for family and friends to understand the importance of mental health and to learn how to support those who might need it.
